IEEE ComSoc Leonard G. Abraham Prize for former and current IDC members

Former and current IDC members Alex Yu, Dongfang Xu, Ying Sun, Derrick Wing Kwan Ng, and Robert Schober received the IEEE ComSoc Leonard G. Abraham Prize for their paper “Robust and Secure Wireless Communications via Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces”, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, vol. 38, no. 11, pp.2637-2652, Nov. 2020.

The Leonard G. Abraham Prize is the best paper award of the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications and given to a paper published in the previous three calendar years. The basis for judging is the quality, originality, utility, timeliness, and clarity of presentation.  The award was received at the IEEE International Communications Conference (ICC), May 29, 2023, Rome.
