Ph.D. Positions and Post Doc Positions
The Institute for Digital Communications invites applications for Ph.D. or Post Doc Positions. The areas of interest include, but are not limited to LTE/LTE-A mobile radio networks, multi-cell processing, multi-user MIMO transmission, relay networks and network coding, interference management, cross-layer optimization, resource allocation, cognitive radio, physical layer security, and smart grids. The following tasks are assigned to the position
- Performing research in the abovementioned (or related) fields
- Collaboration with partners from adacemia and industry
- Teaching assistance
- Supervision of students during their Bachelor and Master Theses
- Publication and presentation of research results
Requirements:
- M.Sc. / Diploma (or Ph.D.) degree in electrical engineering, communications or related subjects
- Excellent grades (within top 5 % of year)
- Proficiency in communications and signal processing
- Programming skills in Matlab and/or C/C++
- English language skills
- High motivation, ability to work in an international team and to collaborate with partners from academia and industry
