Cell Free Massive MIMO for 6G Wireless Networks

Description:
This full-time position is funded for three years by DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) through the Franco-German collaborative project CellFree6G. The doctoral project focuses on cell-free massive MIMO systems and addresses theoretic and technical challenges for a realistic and practically implementable design of this key technology for 6G wireless networks feasibility.

Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative person with a master degree in electrical engineering, communications and information technology or related fields and excellent grades. The key prerequisites are both solid mathematical skills and proficiency in communications, information theory and signal processing. Relevant prerequisites are also a good English command and programming skills in Matlab, Python. A certain degree of independence, capability to take initiative, and ability to work in an international team are also required.

Assigned Tasks:
The successful candidate shall (a) perform research in the abovementioned areas; (b) publish and present research results; (c) provide teaching assistance; (d) supervise students during their Bachelor and Master theses.
