Experiments:

- Mobile channels (2 experiments):

Characteristics of real mobile radio channels such as distortions and time variability, models for mobile radio channels, effects on the performance of a mobile radio system

- Equalization of mobile radio channels for the example GSM / EDGE (2 experiments):

Principles of different equalization methods, equalizer design for GSM / EDGE, simulation of trellis-based equalizers and visualization of the results

- Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM):

Principle of OFDM, implementation-relevant aspects such as nonlinearities and peak-to-average-power ratio, synchronization and equalization

- MIMO transmission (2 experiments)
